About The Position

As a Retail Sales and Recovery Associate at Macy’s, you help create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready. You provide friendly, approachable service and support the team in achieving sales goals. You prepare the sales floor for customers, stay informed about goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and engage customers with a warm welcome and personal conversation. Throughout the day, you recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves. You also share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another through honesty, care, and collaboration and continually work to improve individual and store results. This is a seasonal role. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. Macy’s describes full-time colleagues as typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week and part-time colleagues as typically scheduled for 12–24 hours per week; the posting does not specify this role’s weekly hours.
