Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Wheaton Plaza
About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you help create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready. With a friendly, approachable attitude, you support sales goals through consistent, high-quality service. Colleagues prepare for the day by getting the sales floor ready, reviewing goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and greeting coworkers. They welcome customers and have friendly, personal conversations; recover the sales floor and fitting rooms; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves. They share Loyalty program benefits, make sure customers have what they need, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you. They also collaborate with teammates, strive to improve, take pride in their work, and learn from one another to deliver individual and store results. The role requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as dependable attendance and punctuality. It involves frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers. Physical duties include talking, lifting, constant movement, standing, reaching, and other activities described below.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently, and effective in a team.
- Be comfortable handling electronic devices.
- Be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, reach (including above eye level), and perform frequent movement and standing.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Be able to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
