About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you help create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready. You provide friendly, high-quality service and support your team in achieving sales goals. Colleagues prepare for each day by reviewing goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions. They welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations; recover the sales floor and fitting rooms; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty-program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their visit. Colleagues also support one another through honest, caring collaboration and work to improve their performance and store results. The position requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as dependable attendance and punctuality. It involves talking, lifting, frequent movement, standing, reaching, and using computers and other technology to perform job functions, including handheld equipment and a cash register.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, eager to start a new venture, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Work independently and contribute to a team.
- Be comfortable using electronic devices.
- Be able to talk, lift, move frequently, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours; lift at least 25 pounds; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
