Seasonal Retail Sales and Recovery Associate, Broward Mall
About The Position
As a Retail Sales and Recovery Colleague, you help create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and keeping the sales floor customer-ready. You provide friendly, personal service and support the team in achieving sales goals. Colleagues prepare the sales floor for customers, review goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and engage customers with a warm welcome and helpful conversations. Throughout the day, they recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. Team members support one another through honesty, care, and collaboration, take pride in their work, and learn from each other to improve individual and store results. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and contribute to team dynamics.
- Be able to use electronic devices.
- Meet the physical requirements of talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
- Be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.
