About The Position
As a Retail Sales & Recovery Colleague, you create a welcoming shopping experience through genuine hospitality and attention to detail. You help keep the store clean, organized, and visually engaging by maintaining merchandise displays, tidying fitting rooms, and ensuring the sales floor is customer-ready. You foster a friendly environment while supporting your team in achieving sales goals through consistent, high-quality service. Colleagues prepare the sales floor for customers, review goals, new arrivals, top sellers, and promotions, and engage customers with a warm welcome and personal conversations. Throughout the day, they recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and the community. The role also involves striving to improve, taking pride in work, achieving sales goals, and learning from others. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The posting describes full-time colleagues as typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week and part-time colleagues as typically scheduled for 12–24 hours per week.
Requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Read and understand employment policies and safety rules or procedures in English.
- Have flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Be resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently, and effective in a team.
- Be comfortable using electronic devices.
- Meet the physical demands of the position, including talking, lifting, frequent movement, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Have close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Responsibilities

- Maintain merchandise displays and recover the sales floor and fitting rooms.
- Update signs and pricing and support merchandise moves as needed.

- Share loyalty program benefits and ensure customers have what they need.
- Support teammates through honest, caring collaboration.
- Work toward sales goals and contribute to individual and store results.
- Use register and handheld equipment to perform job functions and process transactions.
