About The Position
Magic Memories is hiring a Retail Photo Operations Assistant Manager for its Polar Express Oklahoma City attraction. The role supports a high-volume souvenir photography retail operation, helping lead the team and deliver world-class guest service. The assistant manager may act as lead manager when the Retail Photography Manager is absent and will provide floor supervision and administrative support to keep the team focused on service and sales goals. The role also involves taking guest photos and creating memorable experiences and souvenirs. The position is seasonal/temporary, with an end date stated in the posting as 01/01/20227.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of people-management experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including supporting teams, developing culture, coaching, and ongoing performance management.
- Ability and drive to assist in a hands-on role, with demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and KPIs in a busy retail environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, management, and cross-functional team members.
- Professional communication skills and appearance.
- Ability to support operations seven days a week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Background check.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of guest-service experience, preferably in hospitality, food and beverage, or retail; preferred but not required.
- Experience in digital photography.
Responsibilities
