About The Position

Richemont, a global luxury goods conglomerate, is seeking a Retail Partnership Regional Manager for its Northeast region. This role is responsible for driving Cartier's market share and brand presentation among its retail partners in the Northeast. The position involves managing regional business performance, achieving sales and market share objectives, and ensuring an elevated brand experience in partner stores. The manager will leverage cross-functional expertise to develop and implement action plans for retailers, analyze key performance indicators, and maximize the impact of store visits. Responsibilities include collaborating with partners on sales, merchandising, marketing, communication, visual merchandising, training, CRM, and events. The role also involves prospecting for new store openings and contributing to the regional team by sharing market insights and best practices. A strong partnership with corporate functions is essential to ensure alignment with overall strategy.

Requirements

  • Sales Background Retail (boutique or corporate) facing experience with direct client interaction during market visits and events.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage & host clients both individually and at events.
  • Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills to create mutual value.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work with and influence senior external partners.
  • Excellent salesmanship to promote the Maison in a multi-brand environment.
  • Luxury product and retail sensibility.
  • Autonomy.
  • Ability to travel as much as 80% of the time.
  • 2-3 years of experience in key account management in luxury watches, eyewear, fragrance, automotive or cosmetics.
  • Pro-active approach to tasks with excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver messages to various audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well within a team.
  • Agility and open-mindedness.

Responsibilities

  • Own regional business performance by connecting results to actions and behaviors, sharing learnings, and adapting plans.
  • Reach sell-out, market share, and sell-in objectives.
  • Ensure an elevated presentation of Cartier VM and SDP in each supervised store.
  • Leverage cross-functional expertise and business insights to build clear, measurable action plans for each retailer.
  • Analyze sell-out, market share, and key KPIs to identify opportunities, understand root causes, and establish priorities.
  • Measure the impact of actions, capture learnings, and adjust plans based on results.
  • Maximize the impact of each POS visit through preparation, observation, partnership, and follow-up.
  • Partner with retailers on sales/merchandising to ensure the right assortment, timely declaration, and accurate replenishment.
  • Collaborate with marketing to build in-store animations for product launches, including training, incentives, and community animation.
  • Invite retailers to contribute to co-op communication strategies tailored to their client profiles.
  • Collaborate on SDP & VM to yield the best visibility from the Cartier location.
  • Design an annual training action plan, including targeted teams and an ambassador program.
  • Design a comprehensive CRM & Events action plan, including co-op e-CRM, e-partner programs, and retailer- or Cartier-initiated events.
  • Identify successful practices and scale learnings.
  • Actively prospect store opening opportunities by using market, client, and competitive insights to identify and prioritize new opportunities.
  • Develop a clear business case and recommendations for potential openings in partnership with Regional and Corporate leadership.
  • Play an active role on the Regional Team by sharing key market, client, and competitive insights.
  • Identify and share best practices across the region.
  • Build strong partnerships and influence retailers to drive results.
  • Partner with corporate to ensure alignment with NA and International strategy.
  • Maintain strong connection with corporate Retail Partner function (National Account Management) and ensure local execution is consistent with the North America and International RP strategy.
