About The Position
The Retail Operations Associate supports store operations by shipping and receiving stock and shipments, administering daily tasks, and ensuring products are merchandised to provide customers with a positive store experience. The role includes inventory control, cycle counting, stocking and merchandising to a planogram, signage and price sign placement, cash handling, and shrink awareness and control. Successful associates collaborate effectively, focus on customer service, show initiative, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and learn the technology and retail systems needed for the job.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks related to inventory control.
- Ship and receive gear and other items.
- Prepare for and execute inventory cycle counts.
- Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
- Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
- Handle cash.
- Maintain awareness of and help control shrink.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
