Retail Merchandiser Part time
About The Position
SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers provide merchandising services for a variety of clients and retailers through ongoing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s available time window rather than for specific hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. Duties may include servicing products, conducting resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and performing other general merchandising activities. The role may involve traveling between stores to set up merchandise displays or manage current promotions.
Requirements
- Merchandising and/or retail experience.
- Availability during weekday daytime hours.
- Ability to understand planograms.
- Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Internet access and an active email address.
- An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
- Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.
Responsibilities
- Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
- Locate displays and remove old product from them.
- Complete full inventory and scanning.
- Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
- Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
- Travel between stores as needed to set up or display merchandise and manage current promotions.
- Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
- Report completed client work on the same day as service.
