Part Time Retail Merchandiser

About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers service a variety of products and clients, performing resets, product cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising activities. Work is ongoing and may involve weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. Most assignments are scheduled within a client's service window rather than for specific hours, offering a flexible schedule. The role may involve traveling between stores to set up or display merchandise and current promotions.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review the objectives of each service call.
Locate displays.
Remove old products from displays.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos.
Report client work completions on the same day as service.
