Part Time Retail Merchandiser

About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers service a variety of clients and retailers through weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s service window rather than at fixed hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. Duties may include servicing products, resets, product cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, and other general merchandising activities. The role may involve traveling between stores to set up and display merchandise or current promotions.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays and remove old products from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to manage merchandise setups, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos.
Report completed client work on the same day as the service.
