About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers service a variety of clients and retailers through ongoing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. Work is generally scheduled within a client’s time window rather than fixed hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. Service activities may include product resets and cut-ins, returns, point-of-purchase placement, inventory scanning, and other general merchandising tasks. Some travel between stores may be involved. SPAR provides end-to-end retail and consumer goods services, using software solutions and experienced resources to help clients ensure products are available and presented effectively. Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access with an active email address.
Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays and remove old product from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Possibly travel between stores to manage merchandise setup, displays, or current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report client work completions on the same day as service.
