About The Position

SPAR is hiring part-time Retail Merchandisers to service a variety of clients and retailers through weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits. Merchandising work is generally scheduled within a client’s service window rather than for specific hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. The role involves servicing products, completing resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and performing other general merchandising activities. Some travel between stores may be involved.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access with an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review the objectives of the service call.
Locate displays and remove old product from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning tasks.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to set up or manage merchandise displays and current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report completion of client work on the same day as service.
