About The Position

SPAR is expanding its part-time Retail Merchandiser team. Merchandisers service a variety of clients and retailers on weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits. Most work is scheduled around a client’s service window rather than specific hours, allowing for a flexible schedule. The role includes servicing products, conducting resets and product cut-ins, processing returns, placing point-of-purchase materials, and performing other general merchandising activities. Some travel between stores may be involved.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or retail experience.
Availability during weekday daytime hours.
Ability to understand planograms.
Ability to repeatedly carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
An Android or iOS smartphone and/or tablet for wireless reporting.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.

Responsibilities

Meet with the site or department manager, as applicable, to review service-call objectives.
Locate displays and remove old products from them.
Complete full inventory and scanning.
Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms.
Maintain quality results by following and enforcing standards.
Travel between stores as needed to set up or manage merchandise displays and current promotions.
Complete the call form and upload photos taken.
Report client work completions on the same day as service.
