About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you will help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by driving product availability and carrying out retail merchandising activities. You will be the main contact for store management and represent Acosta Group in your assigned store or stores. The role involves visiting multiple retail locations in your area and completing assigned work within provided timeframes.

Schedules may be set across Sunday through Saturday, depending on the work required at each location. Full-time schedules are flexible and require at least five days per week; Tuesday and Friday are required workdays. Part-time schedules are flexible for two to four days per week, also including Tuesday and Friday. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with no evenings.

Acosta offers opportunities to merchandise familiar brands across a variety of categories and varied job tasks. Health plan options include no-copay telemedicine, regardless of hours worked. The job requires reliable transportation to reach multiple retail locations and use of a company-issued mobile device to complete work across multiple applications.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have access to reliable transportation to travel to and from multiple retail locations in the area.
• Be comfortable using a company-issued mobile device and multiple applications at the same time.
• Effectively communicate with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Be able to work independently while representing Acosta and coordinating with store teams and the direct manager.
• Follow detailed instructions and complete and report assigned work within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock products, and pack them out.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials and place them in the store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device and navigate multiple applications to complete work.
• Take photos of completed work and provide accurate, concise data and photos according to instructions.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete the work.
• Collaborate with the direct manager via email, phone, and text; contact the manager for help with in-store challenges.
• Build relationships with store teams and serve as an Acosta resource in assigned stores.
• Share best practices with the Walmart team through available communication channels.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe, follow detailed instructions, and report work on the same day it is completed.
