About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you will help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by supporting product availability. You will execute retail merchandising activities, serve as the main contact with store management, and represent Acosta Group at assigned stores. The role involves working independently while building relationships with Walmart associates and managers and collaborating with your Acosta team and direct manager.

Work may be scheduled any day Sunday through Saturday, depending on the location’s needs. Full-time employees have a flexible schedule of at least five days per week, with Tuesday and Friday required; part-time employees work two to four flexible days per week, also including Tuesday and Friday. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with no evenings. The position requires reliable transportation to travel among multiple retail locations in the area and use of a company-issued mobile device to complete work and document results.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have access to reliable transportation to travel to and from multiple retail locations in the area.
• Be comfortable using a company-issued mobile device and navigating multiple applications at the same time.
• Communicate effectively with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Be able to complete work independently, follow detailed instructions, and report work accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock it, and pack out products.
• Straighten products on store shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials and place them in stores.
• Use a company-issued mobile device and multiple applications to complete work.
• Take photos of completed work and provide accurate data and photos according to instructions.
• Represent Acosta and its clients at assigned Walmart store(s).
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete work.
• Communicate with the direct manager by email, phone, and text, and seek help with in-store challenges when needed.
• Share best practices and collaborate with the Walmart team through available communication channels.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
