About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you will help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by supporting product availability and executing retail merchandising activities. You will be the main contact with store management and represent Acosta Group in your assigned store or stores. The role involves working independently while building relationships with Walmart associates and managers and collaborating with Acosta team members and your direct manager.

Scheduled work may be any day from Sunday through Saturday, depending on the work required at the location. Full-time schedules are flexible and require at least five days per week, with Tuesday and Friday required. Part-time schedules are flexible and require two to four days per week, also with Tuesday and Friday required. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; there are no evening shifts.

The position offers merchandising work across a variety of familiar brands and categories, varied tasks, and health plan options that include no-copay telemedicine regardless of hours worked. Reliable transportation is needed to travel to multiple retail locations in the area. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

• Be comfortable using a company-issued mobile device while navigating multiple applications.
• Communicate effectively and work independently while representing Acosta in Walmart stores.
• Follow detailed instructions and complete work within the provided timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock products, and pack them out.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials and place them in the store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device and navigate multiple applications to complete work.
• Take photos of completed work.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete work.
• Collaborate with the direct manager by email, phone, and text.
• Build relationships with store associates and managers and become a reliable Acosta resource.
• Communicate effectively with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Share best practices with the Walmart team through available communication channels.
• Contact the direct manager for assistance with in-store challenges.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Provide accurate, concise data and photos according to instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
