About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you will help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by driving product availability and carrying out retail merchandising activities. You will be the main contact with store management and represent Acosta Group at your assigned store or stores. The role involves working independently, building relationships with store teams, and completing and reporting assigned work accurately within provided timeframes.

Schedules may fall between Sunday and Saturday, depending on the work required at the location. Full-time schedules are flexible and require at least five days per week, with Tuesday and Friday required. Part-time schedules are flexible and require two to four days per week, also including Tuesday and Friday. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with no evenings.

Acosta offers the opportunity to merchandise brands across a variety of categories and perform varied job tasks. Health plan options include no-copay telemedicine regardless of hours worked.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have access to reliable transportation to travel to multiple retail locations in the area as part of the daily schedule.
• Be comfortable working independently as an Acosta representative while collaborating with Walmart store teams.
• Communicate effectively with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Follow detailed instructions and complete work within the provided timeframe.
• Provide accurate data and photos and report completed work the same day.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock products, and pack out products.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials for placement in the store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device and navigate multiple applications at the same time to complete work.
• Take photos of completed work.
• Represent Acosta and its clients at assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete work.
• Collaborate with the direct manager via email, phone, and text.
• Build relationships with store teams and serve as an Acosta resource in assigned stores.
• Communicate effectively with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Share best practices with the Walmart team through available communication channels.
• Contact the direct manager for assistance with challenges in stores.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Provide accurate, concise data and photos according to instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
