About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you will help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by driving product availability. You will perform retail merchandising activities, serve as the main contact with store management, and represent Acosta Group in assigned stores. The work involves visiting multiple retail locations in your area and completing tasks independently while coordinating with store teams and your direct manager.

Schedules are flexible and depend on the work required at each location. Full-time schedules involve at least five days per week, with Tuesday and Friday required; part-time schedules involve two to four days per week, also with Tuesday and Friday required. Work is scheduled between Sunday and Saturday, starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., and takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with no evenings.

Acosta offers health plan options, including no-copay telemedicine regardless of hours worked. The role requires reliable transportation to travel between retail locations and use of a company-issued mobile device to complete work and document results.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to and from multiple retail locations in the area.
• Comfort using a company-issued mobile device and navigating multiple applications.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Ability to complete assigned work within provided timeframes, follow detailed instructions, and report work on the same day.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock products, and pack them out.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials and place them in the store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device and navigate multiple applications while completing work.
• Take photos of completed work and provide accurate, concise data and photos according to instructions.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete work.
• Collaborate with the direct manager by email, phone, and text; contact the manager for help with in-store challenges.
• Build relationships with store teams and serve as an Acosta resource in assigned stores.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
• Share best practices and communicate with the Walmart team through available communication channels.
