About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you’ll ensure Acosta’s client brands stand out at Walmart stores by driving product availability. You’ll execute retail merchandising activities, connect customers with brands, and serve as the main contact with store management while representing Acosta Group in assigned stores.

The schedule is flexible and may include work Sunday through Saturday, depending on location needs. Full-time schedules require at least five days per week, including Tuesday and Friday; part-time schedules are two to four days per week, also including Tuesday and Friday. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with no evenings.

The role involves working independently at multiple retail locations, coordinating with store management and associates, and communicating with your Acosta manager. You’ll use a company-issued mobile device and follow detailed instructions to report completed work with accurate data and photos on the same day.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have access to reliable transportation for travel to multiple retail locations in the area.
• Be comfortable working independently and representing Acosta in Walmart stores.
• Effectively communicate with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Follow detailed instructions and complete work within the provided timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock products, and pack them out.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials, and place them in the store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device to complete work while navigating multiple applications.
• Take photos of completed work.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates.
• Collaborate with your direct manager by email, phone, and text.
• Build relationships with store teams and serve as an Acosta resource.
• Communicate effectively with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Share best practices with the Walmart team through available communication channels.
• Contact the direct manager for help with in-store challenges.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Provide accurate, concise data and photos according to instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
