About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you will help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by driving product availability and carrying out retail merchandising activities. You will be the main contact with store management and represent Acosta Group in your assigned store or stores. The role involves working independently while building relationships with store associates and managers and collaborating with Acosta team members. Work may be scheduled any day from Sunday through Saturday, depending on the location’s needs. Full-time schedules are flexible and require at least five days a week, including Tuesday and Friday. Part-time schedules are flexible and require two to four days, also including Tuesday and Friday. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with no evenings. The position requires access to reliable transportation for travel among retail locations in the area.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to and from multiple retail locations in the area.
• Comfort using a company-issued mobile device and navigating multiple applications at the same time.
• Ability to work the required location-dependent schedule; Tuesday and Friday are required workdays for both the stated full-time and part-time schedules.
• Ability to complete work within provided timeframes, follow detailed instructions, and report work accurately on the same day.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock products, and pack out products.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials and place them in the store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device and navigate multiple applications to complete work.
• Take photos of completed work.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete the work.
• Collaborate with the direct manager via email, phone, and text.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Provide accurate and concise data and photos according to instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
• Build relationships with store teams and share best practices with the Walmart team through communication channels.
• Contact the direct manager for assistance with in-store challenges.
