About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you’ll help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by driving product availability and carrying out retail merchandising activities. You’ll serve as the main contact with store management and represent Acosta Group at your assigned store(s). The position involves working independently while building relationships with Walmart associates, store managers, and Acosta team members, and completing assigned work accurately within set timeframes. The schedule may be Sunday through Saturday, depending on the work required at the location. Full-time schedules are flexible, at least five days per week, with Tuesday and Friday required. Part-time schedules are flexible, two to four days per week, also with Tuesday and Friday required. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and is performed between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., with no evenings. Acosta offers health plan options, including no-copay telemedicine regardless of hours worked.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have access to reliable transportation for travel to and from multiple retail locations in the area.
• Be comfortable using a company-issued mobile device and navigating multiple applications at the same time.
• Effectively communicate with store associates, managers, and Acosta team members.
• Follow detailed instructions and complete work within the provided timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock and pack out products.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials and place them in the store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device and multiple applications to complete work.
• Take photos of completed work.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart store(s).
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete work.
• Collaborate with the direct manager via email, phone, and text.
• Build relationships and serve as an Acosta resource at assigned store(s).
• Communicate effectively with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Share best practices with the Walmart team through communication channels.
• Contact the direct manager for help with in-store challenges.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Provide accurate and concise data and photos according to instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
