About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you’ll help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by driving product availability. You’ll execute retail merchandising activities, serve as the main contact with store management, and represent Acosta Group in assigned stores. The role involves visiting multiple retail locations in your area and working independently while coordinating with store teams and your direct manager.

Schedules may fall any day from Sunday through Saturday, depending on the work required at the location. Full-time schedules are flexible but require at least five days per week, including Tuesday and Friday. Part-time schedules are flexible and require two to four days per week, including Tuesday and Friday. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., and is performed between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; no evenings are required.

Acosta offers the opportunity to merchandise familiar brands across varied categories and tasks, as well as health plan options that include no-copay telemedicine regardless of hours worked.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel to and from multiple retail locations in the area.
• Comfort using a company-issued mobile device and navigating multiple applications at the same time.
• Effectively communicate with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Work independently while representing Acosta in Walmart stores.
• Complete work within required timeframes and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock products, and pack out products.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials, and place them in the store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device and multiple applications to complete work.
• Take photos of completed work and provide accurate data and photos according to instructions.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete the work.
• Communicate and collaborate with the direct manager by email, phone, and text.
• Build relationships with store teams and serve as an Acosta resource in assigned stores.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
• Share best practices and communicate with the Walmart team nationwide through available channels.
• Contact the direct manager for assistance with in-store challenges.
