About The Position

As a Walmart Retail Merchandiser at Acosta, you’ll help Acosta’s client brands stand out in Walmart stores by supporting product availability and executing retail merchandising activities. You’ll serve as the main contact with store management and represent Acosta Group in your assigned store or stores.

Schedules may fall any day from Sunday through Saturday, depending on the work required at each location. Full-time schedules are flexible and require at least five days per week, including Tuesday and Friday. Part-time schedules are flexible and require two to four days per week, also including Tuesday and Friday. Work starts between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; evenings are not required.

The role involves working independently in Walmart stores while building relationships with store management and associates and collaborating with Acosta colleagues. Merchandisers use a company-issued mobile device and multiple applications to complete and report their work, including taking photos of completed tasks. Reliable transportation is needed to travel to multiple retail locations in the area.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have access to reliable transportation to travel to multiple retail locations in the area.
• Be comfortable working independently and communicating effectively with store associates, store managers, and Acosta team members.
• Be able to use a company-issued mobile device and navigate multiple applications at the same time.
• Follow detailed instructions and complete and report work within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Locate merchandise in the backroom, stock it, and pack out products.
• Straighten products on shelves.
• Receive and transport coupons and signage materials and place them in the store.
• Use a company-issued mobile device and multiple applications to complete work.
• Take photos of completed work and provide accurate, concise data according to instructions.
• Represent Acosta and its clients in assigned Walmart stores.
• Partner with Walmart store management and associates to complete work.
• Collaborate with the direct manager by email, phone, and text, and seek support with in-store challenges.
• Complete work within the provided timeframe and follow detailed instructions.
• Report work on the same day it is completed.
• Build relationships with store teams and share best practices with the Walmart team through communication channels.
