About The Position

Lola Blankets is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Marketing Coordinator (Visual Merchandiser) to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our visual merchandising efforts with key retail accounts, ensuring the Lola Blankets brand is represented effectively and consistently across all in-store and digital platforms. This position requires up to 50% travel and can be based in either New York, NY, or Salt Lake City, UT.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in retail, visual merchandising, or marketing, preferably within the consumer goods or home textiles industry.
  • Demonstrated experience working with major department stores and/or e-commerce retailers.
  • Proficiency in visual communication tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with retail partners.
  • Strong creative eye and attention to detail for visual execution.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently while traveling.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
  • Must be based in NY or Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key retail accounts, including Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, Revolve, and others, to execute and maintain Lola Blankets' visual & brand merchandising standards.
  • Develop and distribute visual merchandising guidelines and planograms tailored to specific retail environments.
  • Conduct frequent store visits to assess product placement, display quality, and ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Coordinate the production and delivery of in-store marketing materials, including signage, display fixtures, and promotional assets.
  • Support the Head of Commercial in developing and executing co-branded marketing campaigns and promotions with key retailers.
  • Gather and analyze retail sell thru data, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing in-store performance.
  • Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day retail marketing communication with account teams.
  • Manage the inventory and allocation of samples and display units for retail partners.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time to support new store openings, major visual changes, and key promotional events across the United States.
  • Maintain a travel and store visit schedule, documenting findings and next steps in a timely manner.
