About The Position

Anderson Ranch seeks a detail-oriented colleague who wants to work with a high-performing marketing team. The person who fills this role will be self-motivated, highly organized, tech-savvy, and willing to learn from our team and contribute to its success. They will enjoy collaborating with a wide variety of people, from artists to staff and interns. They will have an eye for detail and a balance of creativity and analytical savvy. They will take ownership of the details and timelines to drive the completion of small and large-scale marketing projects throughout the year. Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, entry-level Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This is an active, multifaceted position that provides hands-on coordination and administrative support. Responsibilities include making large-scale and day-to-day updates and improvements to the Anderson Ranch website, and assisting in the creation of marketing materials and digital assets. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with strong website management, organizational, and communication skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing and contribute to our organization's local and national outreach.

Requirements

  • Familiar with website content management systems, specifically WordPress, including the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and update existing content and build new pages as needed.
  • Backend event and program registration management is required.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with standard software, including Google Suite.
  • Must excel in a Mac-based environment.
  • The ability to work with existing templates in Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or other design software to provide multiple creative solutions.
  • Create original content with guidance while being open to feedback, suggestions, and input from others during the design/creative process.
  • Familiarity with email marketing systems, specifically MailChimp, and email list management and segmentation.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong written, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proven time-management skills, organizational skills, the ability to multitask, coordinate short and long-range projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both in a team setting and independently.
  • Must be a strong and proactive communicator.
  • Ability to provide administrative support, working with all departments across the organization.
  • Minimum Bachelors of Arts, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent college degree.

  • Photography and videography skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management of the Anderson Ranch website- andersonranch.org.
  • Management of the annual summer workshop upload project to the website.
  • Manage the annual marketing calendars for both the team and the larger organization.
  • Assistance with email marketing efforts and database management.
  • Assistance with social media marketing and content creation.
  • Assistance with graphic design for print and digital marketing materials.
  • Administrative tasks as needed, including Welcome Center duties and event registration.
