About The Position

Assists the marketing department in the setup and execution of promotions.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in marketing or related field.
  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and basic understanding of financial formulas.
  • Basic to advanced proficiency of Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexibility to frequent changes and ability to react quickly.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
  • Strong design skills preferably in Photoshop, In Design, and Illustrator.
  • Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships and work with outside vendors, field staff, and other departments cross-functionally on projects to success.
  • Must display a high degree of professionalism, tact and diplomacy.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Solution oriented.

  • Retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support such as inputting and tracking orders, reconciling expenses, creating purchase orders.
  • Assist in development of signs for new marketing campaigns including creative direction, distro creation, project management, shipping, and tracking.
  • Fulfill store sign/collateral requests in a timely manner.
  • Research and track missing items.
  • Create and print flyers, VIP cards and other grassroots marketing collateral as needed.
  • Work with the Digital team to advertise and support new store openings with email and SMS.
  • Set up discount codes in our POS system.
  • Communicate event details to field and provide clear execution expectations.
  • Recap events with execution photos and metrics.
  • Pull weekly promo code usage reports and register roundup campaign reporting.
  • Assists department with purchase orders and payment processing as well as logging and reconciling expenses.
  • Draft in-store commercial messaging and work with the vendor to ensure the messages are recorded and programmed for the correct store groups.
  • Troubleshoot related issues.
  • Create web ads to mirror current promotions and conduct weekly audits.
  • Manage the exterior marketing for stores including flags, balloon clusters, curb signs, lawn signs, and external banners.
  • Maintain library of general grassroots marketing collateral i.e. flyers, discount cards, and tear pads updated bi-annually.
  • Assist with research for advertising and events.

Benefits

  • The pay range for this role is $28.00-$31.00/hr USD.
