About The Position

American Residential Services (ARS) is hiring In-Store Sales Representatives / Lead Generators to represent our HVAC and plumbing services inside national home improvement retail stores. This role offers flexible hours with weekend availability required, and both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. The position provides an hourly pay rate of $23-$25 with uncapped commission, leading to typical earnings of $25 – $35 per hour with incentives. Paid training is provided, and there is an opportunity to advance into HVAC Sales Advisor roles. This role does not involve door-to-door canvassing or cold calling.

Ability to stand and walk during shifts
Weekend and some holiday availability
Reliable transportation
Clean, professional appearance representing the ARS brand
Ability to attend weekly in-office meetings
Employment is contingent on a background check in accordance with applicable law

Nice To Haves

HVAC experience
Retail, kiosk, Door-to-Door, or sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

Engage with customers in a retail store environment.
Approach shoppers and start friendly, professional conversations.
Ask questions to understand customers' home comfort needs.
Educate customers about HVAC, plumbing, tune-ups, replacements, and indoor air quality solutions.
Generate qualified leads and schedule in-home consultations or service appointments.
Represent the ARS brand professionally and enthusiastically.
Work toward individual and team lead-generation goals.
Provide a positive customer experience from the first conversation.
