About The Position

The Retail Learning & Development Program Manager builds and owns the learning journey for Assistant Store Managers (ASMs), from onboarding through ongoing development. The role defines expectations, milestones, and readiness measures in partnership with Retail leaders and People & Culture, creating a consistent foundation while allowing flexibility for specialty area, experience level, and store needs. Learning experiences should be practical and connected, reinforce learning through leaders and on-the-job practice, and evolve with the needs of the retail teams and business. The position leads end-to-end program management and rollout, including planning, partner inputs, learner communications, implementation, progress tracking, launch readiness, measurement, adoption, and continuous improvement. The manager connects existing Retail Learning and HQ L&D programs, tools, and resources, and partners across Retail, People & Culture, HQ L&D, and Retail Admin to develop or adapt learning experiences for the ASM audience. The role gathers feedback, supports adoption across a growing store leadership community, facilitates training as needed, experiments with engaging approaches aligned with the brand, and supports the growth of the Retail Learning team. It reports to the Director, Retail Learning & Development.
