Retail Lead, Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium
About The Position
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time Retail Lead to join the team at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, Florida. The Retail Lead supervises and trains retail team members and helps maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures. The role supports store operations by scheduling employees, following up on work results, opening and closing retail locations, and ensuring sales transactions are processed accurately. It also involves inventory management, assisting guests, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and creating and maintaining professional visual displays.
Requirements
- Previous cash handling experience and basic math skills.
- Previous experience working with a point-of-sale system.
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise retail team members and complete store operational needs by scheduling employees and following up on work results.
- Open and close retail locations as directed and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Support opening and closing procedures while ensuring accurate processing of sales transactions.
- Manage inventory activities, including restocking, merchandise transfers, receiving shipments, and quarterly inventory.
- Monitor the store floor, assist with guest needs, and ensure the integrity of physical inventory and par levels.
- Regularly evaluate, create, and maintain professional visual displays.
