About The Position
As a Key Holder, also known as a Floor Leader, at Skechers, you will contribute to store operations and mentor team members to deliver exceptional customer service. This entry-level management role involves overseeing daily operations, supporting sales goals, and maintaining the store’s shopping environment. It offers opportunities to develop retail leadership skills and advance in retail management. The hourly range is $14.21–$15.07, with a starting rate of $14.21. Requirements
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve in-store issues.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, staffing, and operational tasks.
- Ability and desire to foster a respectful, safe, and fun environment for store employees.
- Comfort mentoring team members and communicating with all levels of the store team.
- Ability to act with confidentiality and urgency.
- Sales skills to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent; preferred but not required.
- Previous experience as a Key Holder, Shift Leader, or Retail Supervisor in retail, restaurant, or hospitality; preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide product advice, and help shoppers find the right fit.
- Supervise daily operations, including opening and closing procedures as required, and maintain security protocols and operational standards.
- Mentor and support team members in customer service, sales, and daily operations.
- Contribute to store and individual sales targets through effective selling techniques and promotion of Skechers products.
- Execute merchandising plans, restock products, and maintain store cleanliness.
- Oversee stock and inventory routines and collaborate with store management on operational needs.
- Identify and resolve in-store challenges to support a smooth customer experience.
