About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring a part-time Retail Key Holder to support the management team and help create personalized, memorable in-store shopping experiences. The role includes sales and productivity goals, customer engagement, store operations, product merchandising, and serving as Manager On Duty when designated store managers or key holders are absent. The position is suited to someone enthusiastic about health and wellness who can engage customers and work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and at locations as business needs require.
- Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
Responsibilities
- Act as direct support for the management team and execute tasks with excellence.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting coworkers in doing the same.
- Build customer loyalty through personalized connections and memorable shopping experiences, including selling and building baskets.
- Work with integrity and act as Manager On Duty when the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Key Holder is absent.
- Process customer transactions efficiently, merchandise shelves, and price products appropriately.
- Develop product knowledge through continuous learning activities.
- Collaborate with the store team, referred to as Health Enthusiasts.
- Maintain the store, follow loss-prevention standards, process product receipts promptly, and keep shelves stocked and products priced correctly.
- Perform additional duties as required.
