About The Position

Bob’s Discount Furniture is hiring a Retail Guest Experience Sales Specialist to help customers bring their home design ideas to life while providing world-class service in a low-pressure, gimmick-free environment. The role contributes to the company’s success and growth in a supportive, fun, and team-oriented workplace.

The position combines customer service and sales. Successful candidates bring strong interpersonal skills, enjoy working with people, and are energized by retail sales and home décor. The role requires adapting to a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays, and working in a high-energy showroom environment. Compensation is an hourly advance against commission, with uncapped commissions. Expected first-year earnings typically range from $45,000 to $65,000 annually; the stated base pay is $15.40 as an advance against commission.

Requirements

• Energetic and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the showroom.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
