About The Position

A Visionworks General Manager leads both the team and the business. This business-savvy self-starter is responsible for profitability and the factors that drive store success, while managing a service-driven team to create a simple, human, and bold patient and customer journey from the doctor appointment through eyewear pickup. The role focuses on meeting financial and performance goals without compromising the patient and customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three or more years of related experience.
• Licensed General Managers must hold a current State Opticians License.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Optical management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize store profitability while maintaining the patient and customer experience, setting and exceeding organizational financial and performance goals.
• Engage regularly with the Doctor to discuss business needs, associates, and the patient and customer experience.
• Prepare and plan daily business by managing incoming traffic, doctor appointments, and scheduled eyewear services.
• Hire, train, coach, develop, and support store associates so they perform their roles effectively and deliver a strong patient and customer experience.
• Remove obstacles and resolve issues in the patient and customer experience when needed.
• Lead, execute, and improve broad operational activities to meet the store's financial and customer experience goals.
