About The Position

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Retail General Manager to oversee high-volume retail facilities. The role is responsible for generating and executing travel center and restaurant business plans to meet established standards and achieve sales, profit, and customer-satisfaction objectives. The General Manager builds, coaches, manages, and develops teams, including staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training. The position also involves driving sales, managing team members, tracking inventory, providing customer service, performing P&L analysis, conducting meetings with subordinate employees, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring customer expectations are met.

Requirements

At least 2–3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery, or another service industry, with responsibility for financial results.
Previous management proficiency in high-volume retail with P&L accountability.
Ability to create and maintain a customer-focused culture.
Integrity and accountability at the managerial level.
Excellent team leadership skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
