Retail Fulfillment Associate, Aventura - Full Time
About The Position
As a Fulfillment Colleague at Macy’s, you help create a seamless and personalized shopping experience for omni-channel customers. The role combines customer engagement on the sales floor with back-of-house fulfillment work, including selecting merchandise, packing and shipping online orders, and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup. You greet customers, resolve issues professionally, and help ensure positive interactions while supporting sales, customer loyalty, and store operations. Daily work may include reviewing goals and promotions, preparing the store, receiving and tagging merchandise, organizing the stockroom, fulfilling orders, and supporting customers on the sales floor and during pickups. Colleagues also maintain shoppable spaces by recovering the sales floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and assisting with merchandise moves. The role emphasizes teamwork, genuine hospitality, operational excellence, and achieving sales goals.
Requirements
- Flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.

- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Select merchandise, pack and ship online orders, and assist with in-store and curbside pickup.
- Greet customers, listen to their needs, resolve issues professionally, and provide helpful service.
- Receive and tag merchandise and organize the stockroom.
- Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, restock merchandise, and support merchandise moves.
- Share loyalty program benefits and work toward daily sales goals, including acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts.
- Complete orders and organize the stockroom to support the next day's operations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support customers and store results.
