About The Position

The Fragrance RSS Colleague provides professional customer service by selling and demonstrating fragrances and related items, contributing to department success, supporting fulfillment, and performing other duties as necessary. The position is full-time and temporary at Macy’s Woodbridge Center, supporting the Armani/Valentino fragrance counters. The colleague helps serve digital and in-store customers, maintains product presentation and inventory, participates in sales events and training, and follows safety, hygiene, asset protection, and inventory procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of related experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds; stand for at least two consecutive hours; and perform frequent moving, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder climbing.
Color vision.
Ability to use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to in-store and digital customers, partnering with others when appropriate.
Explain and demonstrate fragrances through actual application or card application.
Partner with the Fragrance Counter Manager or CSX Manager regarding inventory and other inaccuracies.
Attend product training classes and seminars.
Ensure proper presentation, organization, storage, and replenishment of stock.
Participate in pre-selling and sales-driving events to maximize sales.
Process new receipts, damages, testers, and return-to-vendor items promptly.
Keep the work area free from hazards and work safely.
Follow asset protection, inventory control, compliance, shortage, and hygiene procedures.
Foster an accepting and respectful environment and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality.
Support fulfillment and perform other duties as necessary.
