About The Position

As a Fragrance Sales Associate, you create a warm, welcoming environment through genuine hospitality and exceptional customer service. You engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations that reflect their style, mood, and preferences. As a beauty enthusiast and product expert, you demonstrate and sell fragrances and related beauty products, and educate customers on fragrance notes, layering techniques, and usage. You build meaningful customer connections, anticipate needs, and deliver a seamless shopping experience. You help prepare and maintain the sales floor, stay informed about sales goals, new arrivals, top sellers, trends, and promotions, and provide personalized customer service. You merchandise new receipts, process damages and vendor returns, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. You promote loyalty benefits, contribute to sales goals, and collaborate with colleagues to serve customers and communities. This is a part-time position. Part-time colleagues are typically scheduled 12–24 hours per week, and all schedules include weekend shifts. Hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience.
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
Ability to engage customers warmly and knowledgeably, assess preferences, demonstrate fragrances, and make tailored recommendations.
Ability to use clienteling tools to build relationships and promote launches, events, offers, and products.
Ability to maintain an organized selling space and uphold merchandising, inventory, hygiene, and compliance standards.
Ability to use point-of-sale technology and digital tools.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers and colleagues.
Ability to meet sales goals and acquire customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations that build lasting relationships.
Assess customer preferences, demonstrate fragrances, and provide tailored product recommendations.
Demonstrate and sell fragrances and related beauty products, educating customers about notes, layering techniques, and usage.
Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor, including merchandising new receipts, processing damages and vendor returns, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
Promote loyalty benefits and acquire new customers by opening credit accounts.
Meet and surpass daily sales goals and promote customer loyalty through clienteling tools, product launches, offers, and sales events.
Use point-of-sale technology, mobile selling technology, and digital tools to process transactions and support the shopping experience.
Maintain inventory, hygiene, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with colleagues and the Beauty team, participate in ongoing training and vendor education, and support a positive customer experience.
Ensure customers have what they need and conclude interactions with a sincere thank-you.
