About The Position

The Fitness Associate is a technically focused retail role centered on health and wellness. The associate uses personal fitness experience and product knowledge to make holistic recommendations tailored to each athlete’s needs and goals. The role creates a differentiated customer experience for people interested in fitness products, including helping them select equipment and accessories for an at-home fitness space. The associate also explains financing options and helps merchandise the fitness pad according to the game plan.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of fitness experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a tailored customer service experience by meeting athletes at their current stage in their fitness journey and adapting the sales approach.
• Use fitness expertise to recommend products that meet athletes’ needs and goals.
• Explain product features and benefits clearly and in depth, while staying current with industry technology and insights.
• Present the benefits and value of creating an at-home fitness space.
• Understand the available space in an athlete’s living accommodations and recommend suitable fitness equipment and products for short- or long-term space transformations.
• Pair fitness products with complementary workout accessories and, when appropriate, fitness regimens and pre- and post-workout techniques.
• Explain available financing options as an alternative payment approach for large purchases.
• Assist with merchandising the fitness pad according to the game plan.
