About The Position

Goodwill Industries--Knoxville, Inc. is seeking a full-time Retail Donation Attendant. The role is responsible for receiving donated items from customers at a Goodwill retail store, sorting donations into appropriate categories, and assisting customers with donations and recycled materials. The ideal candidate is energetic, flexible, and has excellent customer service skills.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, and regular, with an hourly wage of $10. The work location is Hardin Valley. The attendant must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently exert up to 20 pounds of force.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, accept and unload donated materials, and thank donors for their items.
• Ensure donated goods are received, inspected, sorted, and placed into holding bins.
• Assist customers with the disposal of recycled materials.
• Keep the donation center's indoor and outdoor areas clean and safe.
• Provide positive and professional customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking donors.
