About The Position

Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service, and help maintain clean facilities. Duties vary according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided.

The role includes assisting customers with items, products, and services; processing transactions and offering additional sales opportunities; using methods and technology to maintain food safety for fresh food and deli products; and cleaning assigned work areas and other store facilities. Team members may also cross-train in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. The position requires the ability to lift more than 25 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
