About The Position

Join the team as a Retail Cashier / Customer Service Associate, serving as a friendly point of contact for customers. Provide customer service at the register while helping keep the store stocked, clean, and welcoming. The role is part-time and requires open availability to work a variety of shifts, including morning, day, and evening; the stores operate 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is a plus but is not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to meet legal age requirements for regulated product sales.
• Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts at a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude.

• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independently.
• Quick thinking, adaptability, and dependability.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in conditions involving heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes, chemicals, or odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a warm smile and friendly attitude.
• Deliver a fast, accurate, and professional checkout experience.
• Promote current sales and specials, and suggestively sell to enhance the customer experience.
• Process transactions accurately and responsibly, including alcohol and tobacco sales while meeting legal age requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including fuel islands.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with fresh, organized products.
• Help maintain foodservice and coffee areas, including cleaning and restocking.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and labeling procedures.
• Support team members and complete additional duties as assigned.
