Retail Part-time Cleaner- Early Mornings
About The Position
The Retail Cleaner maintains a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating floor-care equipment and performing a range of cleaning tasks throughout the store. The associate also follows operational, merchandise, health and safety, and loss-prevention standards; supports customer experience and store culture; and is cross-trained to assist in other store areas as business needs require. This is a part-time position with early morning scheduling. The starting pay range is USD $13.25 to $13.75 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards, including maintaining and operating the scrubber and buffer.
- Dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean glass and windows.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the sales floor, single queue, associate lounge, backroom, and restrooms.
- Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the lounge, restrooms, and front end.
- Cross-train in other store areas, including the backroom, front end, and sales floor, to support business needs.
- Support and respond to front-end coverage needs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Follow operational and loss-prevention controls and company guidelines, including shrink-reduction practices.
- Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates.
- Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including associate meal and break-period policies.
- Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
- Model established customer-experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
