About The Position

The Retail Cashier greets customers, provides friendly and professional checkout service, and supports the store’s overall customer experience. Most time is spent at the register, with additional duties that include stocking, cleaning, receiving deliveries, and assisting with food service operations. The store operates 24/7 and requires flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This is a part-time role scheduled from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., paying $17.50 per hour.

• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products such as alcohol and tobacco.
• In Nevada only, must meet the legal age to work near slot machines.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and listen.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in conditions involving heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes, chemicals, or odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a smile and thank them for their business.
• Provide fast, friendly, and professional checkout experiences.
• Promote store specials and suggest additional purchases.
• Ring up sales accurately and follow company policies, including rules for restricted product sales such as alcohol and tobacco.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed.
• Assist with cleaning and stocking the food service area.
• Follow food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Rotate and properly label inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
