About The Position
Love’s Retail Cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, keeping areas clean while providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. They help customers locate items, answer questions about products and services, address customer needs, and complete transactions. Cashiers may take on different duties based on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role may also involve cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25 pounds or more.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Flexibility and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
- Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
- Use methods and technology to ensure proper food-safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Clean the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
