Retail Cashier Part Time
About The Position
Love’s retail cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, keep work areas clean, and provide customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. They help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, address customer needs, process transactions, and offer additional sales opportunities while following applicable state and local laws. Cashiers use various methods and technology to maintain food-safety conditions for fresh food and deli products. Duties may vary according to business needs, and team members may cross-train in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. No experience is required; training is provided. The role requires moving and lifting more than 25 pounds and working in various temperatures.

Responsibilities
- Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
- Complete customer transactions and balance the cash register while offering additional sales opportunities and following state and local laws.
- Use methods and technology to maintain proper food-safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps; complete trash runs.
- Flexibly perform duties based on business needs and potentially cross-train in other departments.
