Retail Cashier Part Time
About The Position
Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service, and help maintain clean spaces. They assist customers with finding items, answer questions about products and services, address customer needs, and complete register transactions while following applicable laws. The role may include other duties based on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No experience is required; training is provided. Cashiers help ensure food safety for fresh food and deli products, clean assigned work areas and other customer-facing spaces, and may cross-train in departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles. The position requires moving and lifting more than 25 pounds and working in various temperatures.

Responsibilities
- Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
- Complete customer transactions and balance a cash register while following state and local laws.
- Offer additional sales opportunities to customers.
- Use methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Clean the direct working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Flexibly perform additional duties based on business needs and potentially cross-train in other departments.
