About The Position

Love’s Retail Cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean spaces and providing customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. Cashiers may perform different duties based on business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No prior experience is required; training is provided. The role involves customer assistance, cash register transactions, food safety practices, and cleaning duties. Team members may also cross-train in other departments, including Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.

Requirements

• Flexibility and teamwork skills.
• Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Complete customer transactions and balance a cash register while offering additional sales opportunities and following state and local laws.
• Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
• Clean the assigned work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
