About The Position

Love’s cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintain clean areas, and provide customers with fast, friendly, and accurate service. They help customers locate items, answer questions about products and services, address customer needs, and complete register transactions while offering additional sales opportunities and following applicable laws. Cashiers use a variety of methods and technology to help ensure fresh food and deli products meet food-safety conditions. The role also involves cleaning the employee’s work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, as well as completing trash runs. Depending on business needs, team members may be cross-trained in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, or leadership roles. Love’s provides training, including for candidates with no prior experience.

Requirements

Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
Ability to work in various temperatures.
Flexibility and teamwork skills are important.

Responsibilities

Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
Complete customer transactions and balance the cash register while offering additional sales opportunities and following state and local laws.
Use a variety of methods and technology to help ensure proper food-safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
Clean the direct work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas/diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
Flexibly perform other duties and potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
