About The Position
Love’s is hiring a part-time Retail Cashier to provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in a fast-paced environment while helping maintain clean facilities. Cashiers may perform different duties according to business needs, so flexibility and teamwork are important. No experience is required; training is provided. The position may also involve cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift more than 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Flexibility and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address their needs.
- Complete customer transactions, balance the cash register, and offer additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
- Use methods and technology to maintain proper food-safety conditions for fresh food and deli products.
- Clean the immediate work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, and gas and diesel pumps, and complete trash runs.
- Perform other duties based on business needs, potentially including cross-training in other departments.
